Project is substantially complete. Contractor is working on punch list items. We are handling Truck signs and street toppers that you had mentioned. We are in the process of scheduling a meeting with the TXDOT Landscape person, contractor, and City Forester to make determination on dead tree replacement. There are a few places where a wheel chair ramp or a piece of sidewalk needs to be redone based on ADA compliance.
I am meeting with TXDOT, contractor, and DWU to finalize change order to redo the water manhole at NW corner of Jim Miller and Samuell.
Perhaps you dont see heavy equipment or movement but they are working on these items. We cant rush into accepting the job without making sure even small items are taken care of before releasing the contractors This is in best interest of the City, tax payers, and especially you folks living there.
In coming 3-4 weeks we should have all these items addressed.
